5 stars..that's right! And well deserved! I had taken my suv to two other mechanics (NTB & Car X) before I found Friendly. I spent hundreds of dollars and still not fixed. My check engine soon light was on since 2011 and that meant I could not get my vehicle inspected. Word to wise - go local. Greg really took the time to help me understand the codes, the issues behind the readings, the cost of fixing before ever trying to rectify the problems. Needless to say, my suv is fixed and now legal for the road! They even provided me a ride to and EVEN from work. Great location just off 183 & Burnet too. I have finally found a "hometown" mechanic!!

Friendly Car Care is amazing. Not only did they answer ALL our questions (we had many, we're auto-idiots!), they really gave us the attention we needed to put our minds at ease through a lengthy & possibly expensive repair. They gave us a better rate than two other places we tried first. Since our major repair, we visited again just to get information on a little fix-it, and they are always super helpful. Plus, they answer me on Twitter! Thanks Friendly Car Care, you have customers for life!

Greg, Matt, and the crew were wonderful. I needed my tires looked at, a general tune up, and even new license plates put on. When I called in, they said no problem. They were super nice and told me to bring it in as soon as I wanted. After getting there and dropping it off, one of the crew drove me to my work which was such a nice touch. Really shows they care about their customers. Matt called me throughout the day to give me updates and explained everything thoroughly. He did not up-sell whatsoever. At the end of the day, the same crew member picked me up from work. My car drove off great with new license plates on, and my bill was way better than I expected. This is my car's service home from now on.

I bought a coupon book as well for about sixty bucks and the guy wanted to comp me an oil change for forty and I had already spent about twenty with the coupons, I did not pay sixty to get sixty I paid sixty for around three hundred in savings. Bottom line this place is a bust I'd rather go to Gordan automotive.

I'm always skeptical about businesses that "promise something" in their name or on their signage. Best Burger on the planet, my ass. Friendly Car Care lives up to its name. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I recently needed to have my car inspected and found the business across the street on Yelp. When I arrived, I told them I need the passenger side headlight replaced... they weren't up for the challenge and suggested I try Friendly Care Care. Headlight replaced, car inspected...reasonable rates. Definitely stumbled upon the right group of guys to take care of all my car's needs.

Greg and his crew did an awesome job getting my toyota 4runner fixed! I am a 31 year old girl so I've been taken advantage of at quite a few auto repair shops through the years simply because I don't know enough about cars to know better. My air conditioner quit working and my boyfriend told me that this was the place to go. Apparently the control head for the entire panel that runs the air/heat in my car was broken and this is a very expensive part to get replaced ($1,000 - $1,200 brand new and that would not include the cost of labor to install it!). They were so nice and really worked with me on getting this fixed by finding a refurbished part somewhere and shipping it in to install it. Altogether part and labor only ended up costing me about $600-$650! That's at least half the price it would have cost me to go to the dealership. This is definitely where I am taking my car for everything from now on, and I want to let the ladies know that they will feel really comfortable going to this place.- great atmosphere and honest people. I want to thank Friendly Car Care so much for doing such a great job getting my air conditioner running again! Thanks Greg :) Lis

I purchased a coupon that requires mutiple visits to receive all the discounts and free auto service for friendly car care. Once I had used the coupon enough times to get my free oil change, the NEW owner said he wouldnt honor it because of some story about how he wasnt making money on these coupons. I couldnt beleive he wanted to loose my lifetime business for the amount he was loosing out of pocket for an oil change, free battery test and a free wiper blade wow. He even through the coupon away and said it wasnt valid multiple times. Even though i wanted it for evidence on THIS review. Dont go here for service please they do bad business.

Travis, we apologize for any confusion regarding your coupon. The sale of a business can cause many changes: with even the least of which can seem detrimental. As in most cases, when a contract is in place with one company, it does not always convey to any subsequent ownership. We informed the advertising firm (Bowman Advertising Group) that was selling the coupon books to stop distributing their product as of January 1st, however we understand that this may be disappointing to those who purchased them prior to that date. As we have done for all of the affected customers, it was our intent to make you whole on the out-of-pocket expense you incurred with the purchase of the coupon by providing your requested service at the stated coupon value. We apologize if that did not meet your needs. The advertising firm (above) can assist in explaining further if need be. We hope this helps clarify any confusion.

Picked up my Suburban yesterday, getting an oil/filter change for the first time on my new vehicle. They check all fluids, etc. They now include a full tire rotation as part of their standard oil change service (nice). And for the same or less than Jiffy Lube. Way better. That's when I decided it was time to write a review. They deserve one. We have been using Friendly since they opened over 14 years ago. They always explain the real problem, offer options including "value" options especially on older vehicles. And the few times I checked around, they were always reasonably priced (you have to make sure you are getting quoted the same exact parts, vs off brand cheap stuff). My wife, both my daughters, my in-laws, others at work, all use them now--we've had such good service and great flexibility from the folks there. No one in 14 years has been taken advantage of ever. Just the opposite. Everyone has stories of how they went out of their way. Last year I had them replace the engine and transmission on my old Suburban (it had 250K+ miles) and they put in both from Jasper. Painless and easy. Great choice. Great warranty, too. And if anything isn't just right, they make it right. Always have. The new folks up front make it an easy, no stress experience. They do a great job of explaining things, which is high value to me. They now hand Michelin tires and Include a 3-year road hazard warranty, and they are competitive with Discount Tire, AND they now do front-end alignments (a brand new machine) which Discount doesn't do. Can't say enough about these guys. I highly recommend them.

My family and I have been bringing our cars here for years. They live up to their name of Friendly, and we always recommend them to our friends. They have always worked quickly on our cars, and helped them last until all that's left is to sell them for scrap. They frequently have deals that are great, ac deals during the summer, heater deals during the winter, etc. Definitely take your car here, and they will take care of you.
